Meredith Still
FOUNDER, PRINCIPAL DESIGNERMeredith Still founded The Meredith Project with a belief that the most compelling interiors are not only beautiful, but deeply personal, shaped by the people who inhabit them and grounded in the realities of how they live.
Raised outside historic Philadelphia, Meredith developed an early appreciation for storied architecture, enduring craftsmanship, and spaces with a strong sense of place. After earning her bachelor’s degree from Amherst College, she began her career in finance on Wall Street. Her path eventually led her back to what had always drawn her most: the creative and transformative possibilities of design. She went on to establish her own general contracting company in New York City, gaining an unusually hands-on understanding of how thoughtful ideas become beautifully executed spaces.
That experience gives Meredith a rare fluency in both the creative and practical sides of design. She approaches each project with equal parts imagination, intuition, and precision, seeing not only what a space could become, but understanding exactly what it will take to bring that vision to life.
Since relocating from New York City to Santa Barbara in 2021, Meredith has developed a body of work defined by warmth, sophistication, and individuality. Rather than imposing a signature look, she creates interiors that feel distinctly connected to the people who live in them: layered, collected, considered, and designed to endure.
Meredith is also completely devoted to Frank, her miniature dachshund, who may or may not be the real boss of The Meredith Project. Either way, he proudly serves as the Branch Manager of TMP's funk zone HQ!
